Biography
She flipped the dagger in her talons, watching the thief squirm. Most dragons didn't bother with daggers since they have perfectly good claws to do the job, but Monarch liked the drama from the weapon that it imposed. She circled the dragon as he tried to break the rope binding him, growling at the metal muzzle attached to his snout, winding around his head and barely leaving his eyes visible. When she was behind him, out of his sight, she dragged her dagger lightly down his bound wings, causing him to struggle more.
Monarch chuckled, "The more you struggle, theif, the tighter they get." The dragon stopped struggling, tears streaming over the mask and what little of his face was visible. Monarch grinned, walking back to his front so he could see the enjoyment on her face at his position. "I'm really going to enjoy this." She said as she walked toward him, a wicked gleam in her red eyes.

Monarch glanced from the trinket in her claws to the nervous store owner behind the desk. "20 coins? This is worth 5. I'm not stupid, this isn't real gold."
The Gaoler shifted on her feet nervously. "Um, well, um, I guess maybe, uh, hold on please." She scuddled out of Monarch's sights. She sighed at the impertinence, reached into her bag strapped around her neck, and pulled out 5 coins, laying them on the counter. She turned, tucking the trinket into her pouch. She didn't have time to deal with nervous, fidgeting dragons. There were far too many as it was.
Monarch saw them before they saw her but didn't react. She let them get close to her in the crowd, let them believe she was naive enough to not be checking her surroundings in a crowd. Monarch felt one sneaking up on her from behind and checked that her daggers were still there nonchalantly and unnoticeably. The nerve of these dragons really thinking they could take her in a crowd. Or anywhere, for that matter. She couldn't wait to show them how wrong they were. And in order to do that, she had to let them think they won.
Monarch sighed again, this happened way to much for her liking. She heard a phhffft and a tiny thunk and the dart hit her neck. She collapsed as if the dart had worked. Little do the dragons know, who were now coming out of their horrible hiding places, that when she was younger she had consumed tiny bits of poisons to make herself immune to their effects. She grinned wickedly after they tied a cloth bag around her head and pinned her wings. These dragons are sooo going to die for this. If she wanted to, she could kill them all in seconds, even with a bag obscuring her vision and her wings clamped
