AHAVA
A protector of her old city, forced against her friends.
AHV-01 was a magic engineering marvel - with the sandstorms that beat down on Rustshark City becoming more common, and harsher, many of its population started hiding themselves away in the underground part of the city, and left whatever was on the surface to be battered by the savage sand. But with such a large population, the food they had left would only go so far, and the residents had to ration out whatever was left amongst themselves. Some threatened to leave, but always found themselves crawling back to the protection of the under-city; while it was true that the dragons of Rustshark were used to the occasional sandstorm, these were like nothing they'd ever witnessed. Their protocols meant nothing in the face of this new danger.
The higher ups in the city knew that with no access to a new food source soon, the remainders of what they had left wouldn't sustain Rustshark's immense population - the engineers of the city set to work designing something durable enough to withstand the unrelenting sandstorms but delicate enough to be able to plant and harvest crops on the surface, in the few sheltered areas provided by their buildings they abandoned on the surface.
In order to do this they brought forward an old battle-mech blueprint and revamped it into something capable of doing what they hoped for. What was a dusty shell of a forgotten project was surrounded by the city's finest magical engineers, who toiled over it day and night, reforming the metal plates that made up its body, programming it to follow orders, to be precise, have a firm but delicate touch.
