Periun resents every rumour that passes through the clan regarding him and Hopeless. they are here for a home and a place to raise their hatchlings, just as anyone is. he serves as guard for the lair, and will leave on missions if there is ever need for his work. but he spends much of his time nearly as isolated as Hopeless is, though for a far simpler reason. few dragons will do more than work with him anyways, so he wastes not his time with anyone who has a problem with his beloved Hopeless
he keeps a shorn cerdae, tending to it and ensuring the poor thing stays warm amidst their Fire lair without the coat that'd normally protect it. he's uncertain what condition causes its patchy fur growth, but he keeps the worst parts shorn down so that he can keep its skin cared for and medicated
