Shuffling, feathery sounds come from this thing. We don't know where it came from or what it wants. It does not speak.

Does it think we can't tell what it is? We hear the fluttering of its invisibility cloak. We know what it's hiding under there.

Wishlist describes the Thing's voice as "quite shaky! sort of like leaves on a windy day or the ground when something big is walking nearby!"

No one else hears anything when Wishlist tilts his head to listen.
