Tenjin

Tenjin had thought that when he moved to another clan that he’d be free from his parents, Ryuuji and Taiga, but he found out that soon after he moved his parents moved into a neighboring clan, claiming to give him space while still being close incase their favorite child needed anything. When the rest of the clan found out there was no end to the teasing he received. It only stopped when he didn’t come out of his room for three days and more than a few dragons were getting worried as it wasn’t like the outgoing, energetic dragon they all knew and loved. Tenjin has a hard time containing his excitement for things that he really loves. An example being when he got his tattoo, Forest Skysong. He kept looking for dragons he hadn’t told about it so he could show it off. He would also tell the story of the experience, and the only dragons who were interested in hearing the story, an exaggerated version of the actual event, were the hatchlings, and even then only because it got more and more grand the more he told it. He has also asked the rest of the clan to keep his tattoo on the downlow because his parents would never understand. Recently Tenjin has received a letter from his mother and father stating that they would like to see him for Thanksgiving, and Christmas, but that they respect his need to be independent in his new home and have told him to choose one holiday and they will see him then. Seeing as there is plenty of time until Thanksgiving and Christmas he is intentionally not committing to anything and trying to stay out of sight of his parents. The other dragons, especially Rusa finds it funny since she has never had to deal with parents, she doesn’t let him live down the fact he is still scared of his parents. As a result they have a friendly rivalry going on and he hates to admit it, but Rusa is currently winning. |
