Cyraellia

Sold to the auction right after being born, he only had a vague recollection of what his biological family looked like. When trying to run back home, he bumped into DianFei, who took sympathy on him, and later bought him and named him.

When ZiDian saw DianFei in the den with an unfamiliar hatchling:

Zi: "Who is this? One of the neighbour's kids?"

Fei: "Cyraellia"

Zi: "Oh... nice to meet you Cyraellia," he greeted perfunctorily, "Fei, who's kid is this?"

Fei: "Mine."

ZiDian brain blanked. Wait, he can't be her biologically, as she's incubating... then the question still stands.

Zi: "Fei..." he thought about how best to phrase his questions "How did you meet the hatchling?"

Fei: "Auction run away. Then I bought him."

ZiDian thought to himself: This kid looks only a few hours old, and he knew the auction she'd head to this morning, while not entirely moral, at least had the scruples not to kidnap newborn hatchlings.

This kid was probably sold by his clan. With a past like that, even the utilitarian ZiDian didn't have the heart to kick him out.

He gave the hatchling a closer look.

Zi: "...this kid is a boy."

Fei: "Son."

Zi: "yes.. this son of ours is a boy. Isn't his name too effeminate?"

Fei: "He looks like a Cyraellia."

ZiDian had mixed feelings as he looked at the little boy. The name Cyraellia did suit how he looked...

But still! Even if his appearance is effeminate, it doesn't mean his personality will be! What if he disliked his name later on? and it looked like he's already bonded to and responded well to this name...

He could do nothing but concede with a sigh.

But with their other kids, he really felt that they should discuss names throughly...

Several Days later, when Cyraellia was old enough to walk and talk, ZiDian's worries were proved to be unnecessary, as Cyraellia blends in well with both boys and girls, and is popular enough that other kids won't tease him for his name.
