Vasilisa is Dehta's fastest flyer, and she is an extremely proud and stubborn Nocturne. Ever since her hatching she has admired the birds that inhabit Sornieth. The birds of the Shifting Expanse quickly lost her interest when she first sighted the colourful plumage that adorned a traveler's necklace. The traveler hailed from the land of the GladeKeeper and told many tales of the flora and fauna which resided there. Vasilisa desired the necklace, and after bartering for it set out to find the source of such stunning plumage.

She is fascinated by the movement and feathers of the Viridian's birds. She mimics bird calls refusing to speak draconian though she understands it. This makes her hard to understand and misunderstandings are a frequent part of her conversations.

She has a crush on any Skydancer she meets and will flirt and fawn over them whenever possible. She especially loves following around Yvaine and her daughter Esme when she can, hoping to get a chance to touch their plumage. Real feathers on a dragon!? Who knew!

Don't talk to her about Coatls though, unless you want to hear some very shrill noises for the next hour.
