First impressions:

When you pay a visit to the Promenade Gardens, you also visit with the Incandescent Clan. And there is no dragon so representative of both distinctions, than Corcra. Corcra is a female Skydancer who's opulent clothing is only matched by the overgrown gardens tended by her mate. And like the gardens, her appearance carries with it a sense of serene grace and beauty; Well polished claws and glinting scales, a rich berry color. Lush, preened crest atop her head and the lilting scent of rose water cascading off of her like mist.

She holds an enchanting allure in her subtle mannerisms; Glittering sapphire eyes, regarding you intelligently, shrewdly behind her silk veil. The way she delicately handles her claws while shuffling parchment at her ash-wood desk. The graceful lines of her proud figure as she holds herself attentively to address visitors. The soft, warm shift to her gaze reserved only for her mate, Leictreacha.

Corcra has been called cold, distant, and even stern. She is short with most, disregardful of many. But quite a few dragons who meet her tend to agree: Nothing could feel as thrilling as being approved of by the astute, magnificent dragon.

Profession:

The clan matron hails from humble beginnings, yet founded her clan many years ago. Well after nesting her first clutch with her beloved, and well before having the Promenade Gardens grown. Her story is simple; from her upbringing in the Sea of a Thousand Currents where fewer and strange "flowers" grow, Corcra developed a deep desire to view and interact with the fabled gem-like butterflies on the mainlands. She worked odd jobs, scrapping and saving every gem and bit of treasure with her mate Leictreacha who was more than supportive. He too found little personal interest in their waterly homeland, wanting to feel the dry soil beneath his feet and take in the rich scents of the land.

Once the two Skydancers' hoard was sizeable, they exhaustively sought out a place on land to form a clan of their own. At first, the Nature Flight seemed the obvious location to kickstart their passions. However, given the sheer amount of competition from fellow nature enthusiasts in the Viridian Labyrinth, they decided on an enormous plot of land to develop a new lair in the Sunbeam Ruins; A twilit forest clearing between the Mirrorlight Promenade and the Hewn City. Here, there is enough sunlight for many herbs, flowers, ferns, and trees to thrive. But it is never truly daylight, as the ever-dark Hewn City looms nearby, absorbing the sun. A beautiful clearing with soft beams of dim twilight glimmering through the trees. Home.

What started out as a water-logged pipe-dream etched into Corcras heart, became something much much more in the form of the grand Promenade Gardens nestled into the Sunbeam forest.

Corcra specializes in the study of the many butterfly and moth varieties found within the Mirrorlight Promenade and neighboring Hewn City, in order to understand their affect on the plants found in the greater realm of the Lightweaver. She then proceeds to catalog all of her findings into scrolls, that are then shuffled off by Caretakers to one of the many data libraries on the premises to be filed appropriately.

Coral Carpenter honey candy.
A rare treat, and known to be bad for dragon teeth, Corcra has a weakness for the simple blue candies made from dried Coral Carpenter honey.
