Science can often be a boring discipline, with long, laborious experiments. Not the way Druid does it. His experiments tend to be...unusual. And many of them end in a bang or with something being destroyed. Or with a colony of pixies taking up residence in your lair (he's become quite fond of them, actually). It' s suspected that he may have experienced one too many explosive 'experiments', as he can go from calm, collected scientist to raving loony with a pipette in seconds.

Not all of his research is mindless destruction though; he is actually an accomplished scientist with a particular interest in the mechanics of magic and the innate abilities of dragons. His research into Breed Change Scrolls and gene change scrolls has lead to a better understanding of how they work and the possible side-effects. His research is ongoing of course, with new scrolls appearing regularly and an eager line of dragons dying to test them out. But with a reputation for blowing things up, Druid is always being monitored by someone, usually Gaillimh, Harlow or Naoto. It can be dangerous to leave him to his own devices, as any sliver of boredom can lead to a large, fiery explosion.
