Biography
› SKYWARD HALL This magnificient hall near the middle of the airship is inhabited by the crew's most notable members. They are well known and respected among the aeronauts, but they are not of a higher standing than their fellow crew members, as the ship is governed in a way that prioritizes equality and freedom. ㅤ |
› LOVERS' HEARTH Possibly the messiest yet most lively place within the ship is a cluster of several rooms furnished for sleeping and playing, where big families of dragons often nurse many hatchlings at once in a community effort. They fulfill the important role of raising future crew members as well as new warriors for Lightweaver. ㅤ |
› ILLUMINATED ARENA In the center of the airship lies a sandy elliptical arena, surrounded by majestic marble columns. Here young dragons receive their fighting training to prepare for their journey to Lightweaver. Usually these students are also open to spontaneous changes of plan, and would be willing to join another lair. ㅤ |
› TRANQUIL STAIRWAY Each layer of the airship is connected to the others through a majestic hardwood spiral staircase in the center of the ship. Those dragons who wish to move their residence to a different section of the ship can often be seen hurriedly carrying their belongings up or down the stairs. ㅤ |
› THE UPPER DECK Every time the airship lies at anchor, curious dragons approach to get a closer look at it and to gossip with the crew. Those who seek adventure might linger on the airship's deck for a few days, until the aeronauts come to a decision about whether or not to grant them permission to join their ranks. ㅤ |
› DEPARTERS' QUARTERS Dragons who wish to depart from the ship to pursue a new fate often stay in these small dormitories near the port side for a while, until the ship steers near their destination. Usually they have a specific plan in mind already, but some of the departing might be open to offers from other lairs. ㅤ |
› ANCIENT LIBRARY In the most antique-seeming section of the airship resides a small community of scholars, who have chosen to dedicate their lives to chronicling the history of the ship and its crew. Each of them keeps track of a different part of the aeronauts' complicated existence and holds a unique title that defines their role. ㅤ |
› ANOMALOUS THEATRE There is something very odd, almost other-worldly, about this group of dragons. They all come from drastically different backgrounds, but they are all united by their love of entertainment and artistic performances – both as the audience and as the stars of the show. ㅤ |
› STEAM-ENGINE CHAMBERS All the way at the stern of the airship a cramped room housing several massive steam engines can be found. And within that same hazy engine room a small group of dragons works tirelessly to keep said engines up and running at all times – they are the engineers that keep this whole operation afloat, figuratively and literally. ㅤ |
› STARGAZERS' CABINS Towards the bow of the ship lays a dark and spacious, but nevertheless cozy, hall that is equipped with a big telescope for observíng the night sky. The mysterious dragons residing here don't seem to quite fit in with the rest of the airship's crew, yet they are an integral and unchanging part of it. ㅤ |
› CRYPTIC LABORATORY The dragons dwelling in the airship's laboratory seem oddly... incomplete, as if they are still in the process of fully becoming themselves. Only few dragons are allowed to pass between this secluded section and the rest of the ship, and the whole operation is rather secretive. Surely there's nothing to worry about though... ㅤ |
› WAYFARERS' DWELLING While waiting for the airship to arrive at their desired destination, those dragons who will depart to serve under Lightweaver and have already completed their combat training spend their days here. Though many of them are excited about their journey, they might still be tempted to change their minds if they were to receive a good offer. ㅤ |
› VOYAGERS' SHELTER Inexperienced adventurers who wish to eventually serve Lightweaver reside in these rudimentary dormitories until it is their time to receive their training. Usually their plans are still quite flexible, and they could be convinced to join a different clan if provided with a good incentive. ㅤ |
