Evergreen Faeris

-Born in the East of the Southern Icefield, Faeris was born into a community which has been intergrated with one of the wandering Gaoler clans for many generations. It is an ancient community steeped in tradition in service of the Icewarden, where most magically inclined or able-bodied members are expected to take up the mantle of jailer or seeker - helping to capture and contain creatures tainted by a mysterious so-called entity known as the Shade. Faeris has worked as one of their jailers for as long as he can remember, and never considered himself as anyone of much note amongst their lot. The position was only landed to him because he was able-bodied but not particularly bulky or magically inclined enough to hunt and capture. And as it is the way of life he grew up with, he doesn't particularly think much about it or their traditions. It's how things are. So... imagine his surprise when he was tasked with being the ambassador between their village and the SAR facility. The logic was simple; he speaks both common and Gaoler clearly, he's more familiar with the creatures they have contained as a jailer, and as a Skydancer he has the unique ability to sense emotions which in theory gives him a great advantage managing negotiations. And he's done so just fine, thus far. It's a big job, so of course he'll do anything he can to make sure he doesn't mess it up, he's working hard. But being the relay point between such intimidating parties in such serious matters..... jeez. Couldn't they have chosen someone else?
-Faeris has never been much to write home about. In fact, really he would have been known as something of a slacker beforehand. He was very laidback, didn't really care about much or about doing his job better than the bare minimum necessary, didn't have much great ambitions because he was just happy being able to coast so long as he was living comfortably. Danger and combat isn't all really his thing... being comfortable is the best he could ask for. Until his sudden ambassadorship, anyway. Faeris may have been a slacker, but he's also a coward, and thus far too uncomfortable to even suggest someone else should step up for the role or do a **** job of it. He's become an incredibly skittish dragon, now one to fuss over even the smallest of details and catastrophize about everything. Always feeling like he has to balance the emotions of everyone around him and worrying it'll be his neck on the line if he doesn't do it right. There's never a real day off, because he never knows when he'll be called in to deal with something. On the upside, he's gotten really good at tedious paperwork.
-Not Partnered, he hasn't really found the time and energy away from his work for that.
