-Having migrated over from somewhere in the Shifting Expanse, Seaglass is joked to be somewhat of an anomaly herself. I mean, a Ridgeback who specializes in water magic? Who took over as the head of the facilities security after working there only a month with barely any background or prior qualifications? She's something alright. But she's incredibly competent despite her oddness, the SAR has the lowest breach rate it's ever had under any other head of security. Though she specializes in water magic, her time in the Shifting Expanse has taught her well how to find her way around plenty of different electronics and machines similar to those necessary for keeping the SAR Facility working soundly. Likewise, her time has made her much better at picking out which dragons will take their job seriously, and will do it well, even if her own abrasive personality happens to clash with the workers she picks. Though that only cements our trust in her judgements of character. Sometimes, rumors float around about her background and her life before Starwood. The fact she very firmly asserts herself as from the Shifting Expanse, yet is clearly from somewhere in the Tangled Wood, certainly gets a few mills going. Then there's the fact some believe she may even be related to the strange alchemist who lives outside town.... and not to mention, there's the question of why she ever moved here in the first place. Ultimately, every assumption and rumor ends up being disproven though, and everyone feels even further from the truth. At least no one minds it much, since they're all very certain in the fact she is actually keeping them safe.
-Seaglass is an incredibly serious woman. She needs to be, in order to do her job, but she's quite serious in all aspects of life. If she's going to do something, she doesn't see why she shouldn't do it both to the best of her ability while still following the rules to the letter, because both effort and accuracy are incredibly important and should be equally prioritized. What is the point of putting a lot of effort into something, only to find the way you did things doesn't work for this specific issue? What is the point of accuracy, if you still don't put in the necessary extra elbow grease to make sure it not only works but works well? However, her seriousness lends itself to something of a short temper. She has no patience for people who don't make an effort, but likewise has little patience for when she's trying to do something and keeps getting it wrong...... picking up new hobbies is difficult. But despite being a workaholic hot-head, she has nothing against those quite different to her in personality. As long as they can actually put the effort in with whatever it is they do, and don't disrespect her way of doing things, then she can get along. She can recognize a good, honest worker even in the silliest of dragons.
-Partnered with Tempest, who despite their differences she genuinely enjoys being with. She's the fire to his friendly.
