Biography
Haze shot up as screams echoed in the hallway. She got out of bed, the sheets tangling and wrapping around her feet. She rushed down the hall, about halfway she screeched to a halt. Haze realized that running into the open space would just get her killed. She tip-toed the rest of the way down the hall, she looked around the bend into their living room. Her mother, her light grey scales with dashes of aquamarine lay there her eyes glazed over. Blood was pooling beneath her, and her neck was ripped open. Haze let out a small sob, and covered her eyes. She tuned her head and headed down the hallway on the other wall in the room. She walked slowly to the door afraid of what she would find. She pushed open the door, her father’s body was in the far corner. His neck was ripped open much like her mother’s. She turned, then a thought strook her like a lightning bolt, she rushed out of the hallway and into another. She pushed open the door and a flash of horror crossed her face as she saw her little sister’s body. The body was draped over her bed, a knife was plunged into her chest. She rushed out and then into her room, she curled up on her sleeping pad and cried, letting the tears soak the sheets beneath her.

Haze let the wind carry her as she soared, tiny buildings appeared as she flew. She stared tucking her wings in, slowly dropping to lower air currents. She landed with a thunk down on a stone path, dragons busled around bumping into each other. Haze walked up and down the streets, there were tiny pearlcatchers begging for food on the side of the road. There were dragons fighting over food, This is not a place for tiny dragons she thought. She stood in place and looked around, a flyer caught her eye, it was attached to a door but not well enough because it flopped around in the wind. She bustled over to it, it read "Assassins for hire". Well thats good, Haze ripped it off the door and read the address. She walked swiftly to the street, "Jasmine street" she muttered to herself. She turned down a few roads and walked through many crossroads. She stood in front of the so-called assassin training building, Wow, what did I expect. Haze pushed open the door and stepped into the dimly lit interior. A dragon white with blood like splotches all over him greeted her.
"Hi, I'm Bloodsplash" he said happily.
"Hello, Is this-- you know the--" she said trying to force the words out.
"Yea! just go down the hall to the right, then you'll see the door with intracate carvings" he replied.
"Ok, thanks" she thanked him.
"What's your name?" Bloodsplash asked.
"Haze" she replied simply.
Haze then walked off before she got a response from Bloodsplash. Walking down the narrow hallway she thought, Oh man what am I getting myself into!. Suddenly the doors of the training room loomed before her, she took in a breath then pushed on one. The door opened easily, and it led into the training room. The far wall was covered in hanging weapons, to her left there was training dummies. A door on the right side creaked open and a bright green dragon stepped out. His gaze pearsed her like daggers, and he walked menacingly towards her. She fought over the fear that was gripping her chest.
