Panther

A dragon stood at the top of a treehouse, green eyes glimmering in the night. The dragon was closely looking through a telescope pointing to the sky. He had scales like a jaguars pelt, his frills and wings where black. His tail was striped yellow and brown. His legs where striped black and grey going all the way down to his talons. He had golden wing cuffs chained around his wings. He stopped looking though the telescope and wrote a few things down.


PANTHERS CURSE.

This dragons name was Panther, he continued his studying the stars until a seven year old dragonett walked up and opened the hatch to the rest of the tree house from the top floor. She was skinny and lean, she had the same markings, but she was grey and darker grey on her markings. She had white legs and a white stripe going down her body.

"Hello father!" She said bursting through the trap door.

"AcK!" Panther said with a jump dropping his quill off the edge of the balcony.

"Oh, sorry dad." The grey dragon said.

"Your fine Seal, but don't you have anything better to do?" He asked tiredly.

"I was coming to ask you if I could go to this party." She said excitedly.

"Who all would be there?" He asked.

"some dragons from school.." She said wandering off in her thoughts.

"Okay, where would this be and when?" He asked looking at her.

"It will be tonight at a home in Murkbarrow Close, it will be a big blow out!"

Panther gasped for a split second witha look of sorrow on his face, "No, You may not go.."
