Alnitak was the eldest son of Rigel, and by far, the most like him. Slightly oblivious, and more than a little shy, he spent most of his time in the observatory. But when he met an imperial from a different Arcane clan, he found himself falling in love. Gone was the black and white world of the stars... He ran away, just for a few weeks. The Clan searched for him to no avail. He returned later carrying his newly hatched son, Flux. He spoke little of what happened while he was gone. Speculation and rumors surrounded him, but he brushed it all off, concentrating more than ever on his work.

He usually does most of the organization around the observatory, and when visitors come to examine their work, he typically handles the tours.
