Biography
As a Gaoler of the Overseer Order, Ektoras never expected to leave the Fortress of Ends. Even as he saw other Gaolers depart, he never imagined doing so himself. When a Seeker returned to the Fortress to lock away a Shade-twisted harpy, she also told tales of her journey. Among those tales was an old myth from the town she had captured the Shade-twisted harpy, the tale of Zilikia.
After hearing the story of the Elder Dragon Zilikia, Ektoras began to wonder if such a creature could be natural. The longer he considered the tale, the less sure he was that it was false and the more he feared that it could tell of a massive Horrorbeast. As Seeker Gaolers never see Horrorbeasts under normal conditions and could thus not determine what Zilikia was, Ektoras decided to leave the Fortress of Ends to investigate it himself.
