About Starspeaker, Nightwalker, Moonseeker - he goes by many names, though "Starspeaker" and "Ahnvae" are the most common. As legend says, he was born from the colliding of two stars over the Starwood Strand and the prayers of a certain clan's leader, the sheer magic of it causing an elemental being to be formed. He took on the image of a fae, learned the language of both dragons and Beastclans alike, and gave himself a name. He has been with Starwatch since his birth, even before they were named Starwatch. In fact, the clan was named after his tendencies to watch the stars, given that he was the only constant through the generations. He hasn't had to use the full extent of his powers yet, just a bit of levitation to help out here and there, and quietly he thanks whatever god that made him for it. He may seem distant, but he loves this clan, and would lay down his life for it just as quickly as the others would. Ahnvae is quite intimidating, though, even with his significantly smaller stature. Those eyes of his seem to see everything, and he moves without a sound. No one has mentioned it to him, yet, not for the many years he has existed, and no one plans to mention it anytime soon. But he knows the others aren't quite sure what to do around him, so he stays away most of the time, dwelling in the company of stars that seem to speak to him. It is how he has existed for a long, long, time. He cannot die. Not of old age, at least. No one, not even himself, has figured out if he would be able to die from other means. But immortality is lonely, for he has watched those close to him succumb to the unending pace of time, or to the merciless claws of battle. Yet he remains, alone, to guard what has been entrusted to him.

Trivia> Ahnvae doesn't align himself with any god, or any flight. His loyalties lie with Starwatch alone, and if Starwatch decided to change their alliances for any reason, he will be with them all the way. > He's not willing to form deep relationships anymore, not with mortals at least. Story He remembers everything from the moment of his formation. There was no impact when he touched the ground, for he was intangible matter. He remembers seeing the earth through the wispy fragments of his body. He remembers the first dragon he saw, a fae, that prompted him to shape his body into something like his. Now he lives on in his image, a tribute to one long gone. The first leader was an Aether, he remembers. Always trying to be positive, yet never one to back down from a fight. She'd prayed to the stars for protection for her then-new clan, so that they may have a chance of survival. Sometimes he looks back to those days, and then to the settlement that Starwatch has built themselves, and wonders if she can see how far they've come, from wherever she is. |

Now I watch them blossom, the seeds sown in times long past beginning to truly grow. The dragon Rhiain leads them now, but she has left to attend to something far away. Even I know not of her whereabouts or the reason for her departure, only Rhaen holds that information.
"Me? I am but a congealing of starlight and desperate prayers, a being who lives to protect. Ask not of my origin, for I am also unsure."
