Biography
Sarannah slashed through the bindings with her claws, eyes darting back toward the door.
"Run!" She hissed to the frightened hatching and he stumbled on the uneven floor. Sarannah kept one eye on the hatchling, one on the door ears straining to hear any sound of someone coming their way.
"My--" The hatchling gasped for breath as they silently as possible ran down empty hallways, "My brother is here somewhere! I need to find him!"
"Don't worry, once I know you're safe, I'll come back to get more dragons. Do you have anyidea where your brother might be?"
The hatchling shook his head desperately, "No! They separated us as soon as they took us!"
Sarannah had to admire the little thing. In the entire 5 months she had been saving hatchling specimens from experiments, not once had any of them worried for a sibling which she knew most of them had here. "Don't worry buddy, I'll try my best to find him. Now, crawl through that vent. At the very end, a big dragon like me will be there to help you, okay? I'll go try to find your brother once you're in there."
The hatchling sniffled and nodded. Sarannah picked him up, raising him above her head to the vent above. He crawled into it but didn't go any further. He turned in the tiny space, looking down at Sarannah. "Bring him back."
Sarannah swallowed the lump in her throat. "I'll try."
