Aria

In her world, it wasn't exactly necessary to care too much about her children once the eggs were outside her body. She visited them in their rookery, tended to by another dragon, but she herself was busy living for herself. Aria always thought she'd been brought into the world to sing, so she focused on cultivating her talent and bringing song to others. The death of her lover caused her to think about her own life. Her babies were too far away to reach for, so she decided to help her mate's old friends protect other artists like herself. Their group, 'The Poets', looks out for starving artists living in the worst part of the best city in the world. Once the kingdom lost its king, however, the group evolved to help anyone seeking shelter, food, or basic care in their uncertain new world.
