Mask is named for both the markings that canvas his face, and the false facades he presents to the world. He rarely says what he truly feels or thinks, instead trying for what he thinks is best in that moment. Sometimes that's something slyly manipulative; at other times it might bolster an ally's failing courage. He has a way with words, in short, and his keen mind is an advantage.

Mask was chosen as Tusk's apprentice in part for his appearance: a prestigious omen of flesh, blood and bones marking his hide, his eyes a mirror of her own (and the mark of those eyes, of course, is best). He is proving his worth beyond that, though, his insight and indomitable willpower combining with a sharp sense of humor to keep the trio's spirits up.
