Persephone, Ceres and Pluto were all abandoned in the woods last winter. It's a miracle they survived, and that they were able to find each other. They grew up together, huddling together for warmth through the winter. Ceres became the sort of mother of the three, whilst Persephone and Pluto became a couple. They were still rather young when they were found by Irae and Inviglio, and the pair immediately took them in, helping the hatchlings stay warm and fed. The three nocturnes are forever grateful to their foster parents, and would do anything for them.
Ceres acted as the mother of their little band of three before they were taken in by Irae and Inviglio, even now she acts like a mother, or older sister, to the other two nocturnes. She's an excellent hunter, and she wears the spoils of her successful hunts, as is evident by the antlers and bird skulls she wears.
