Everest is very quiet and reserved. Despite being the most intimidating looking of the Starlight Guardians, he is actually the gentlest of them, being the healer of the trio.

He has two partners, Atlas--the clan's librarian and researcher--and Dawnrise, one of the other Starlight Guardians. Everest arrived to the Cave of Dreams after Atlas and Dawnrise, looking for a home after losing both his parents as a young adolescent dragon. He took over Atlas' place in training, allowing the Imperial to go back to his comfortable lifestyle researching.

Dawnrise and Everest frequently go on adventures with Mariana to defend their clan, as well as cold expeditions on their own to research some of the more frigid parts of the Tidelord's domain. They both adore coming home after their long, chilly expeditions to cuddle with their boyfriend in front of a fire (they frequently find a book to bring back with them to pacify him long enough for snuggle naps).

He is frequently lost in thought and finds it hard to speak up for his needs, but his partners encourage him and listen to him when he does find his voice.

Atlas and Dawnrise are the only two of the polycule who can physically have an egg together, but have struggled to do so due to some infertility issues. After giving birth to one egg, the three soon-to-be parents were enchanted with their miracle child and absolutely endeared with the barnacle encrusted rock they now cared for.
