S T O R Y
Jazz was practically hand-delivered to the ruling dragons of a clan. His deliverer claimed he would grow into a fiercely powerful Wildclaw —almost guaranteeing that the rulers would be stupid to not take the little hatchling into their own nest. And so, being the generous and superstitious rulers that they were, they took Jazz into their midst, making him their third 'son'. So he grew and he trained, but nothing could stop him from developing a sense of independence that most likely was caused by his adopted parents subconsciously favoring their older, blood-related children. Still, Jazz didn’t care. He knew he didn’t need them. And on one day, as soon as he wasn’t even rarely noticed anymore. he decided it was best to just leave. For his own adventurous and ambitious sake. He was bored, but he didn’t want dragon interaction, no he wasn’t bored because of the lack of that. He simply wanted a chance to prove that he was a powerful Wildclaw and his current clan couldn’t give that to him. So when he left, he had luck finding a clan that didn’t seem too insufferable. He even ran into a particularly equally uncharming familiar that he had the ‘pleasure’ of getting to know during a rough thunderstorm. Reluctantly, he had helped the familiar find cover. In return the familiar promised to ‘spare’ him. (Jazz wasn’t impressed) Still, as time passed it seemed that everything slowly fell into place: Jazz found himself as a respectable warrior whose familiar was just as daring and independent as he was. Never speaking of their care for each other, but secretly enjoying the other’s company.
