Biography
This Saint's statue was sent to the temple by a metalsmith from the Wind domain. Working in the unique windmill-powered environs of the Millmeadow, this dragon pioneered a technique for harvesting a powerful whirlwind to infuse a shimmering rainbow iridescent finish to metals. The Saint is very delicately balanced on its tail with the rest of the figure suspended as if it's catching an up draft and prepared to fly away.
The brightly colored metal has proved to be irresistible to dayjars, which tend to congregate around it first thing in the morning to inspect one another's flowered tails and chatter amongst themselves. The temple's caretakers initially installed it in one of the regular halls, but later moved it outdoors both to showcase its brilliant colors in the sunlight, and to accommodate the visiting birds. (And to keep the visiting birds from pooping on everything inside.) As a gesture of welcome for the dayjars, a flowered border has been planted around the statue and a number of birdbaths installed, which temple guardians fill with fresh spring water every morning.
The metalsmith gave no indication of what petitions this Saint may be willing to hear from visiting dragons, but this is not unusual, as the craftsdragons who contribute statues to the temple often don't know why they've been moved to do so, nor who the Saint they've depicted might be. The metalsmith did however advise that the segmented texture of the Saint's belly is very pleasant to rub.
