Apep is an interesting dragon. Thats what most would say if you asked, maybe even adorned with an awkward laugh.
He has a fascination with Fossils. Uncovering the world that once was, the creatures that once roamed, and being able to hold them in your claws? An experience like no other.
Apep dreams to one day have enough fossils to have a large museum dedicated to them.
He is so in love with creatures past that, if he spies what could be a rock containing a fossil whilst with friends, he will dive toward it and start digging with no explanation. Many find this quirk affronting, but those closest to him are endeared by his enthusiasm.

Brogan is the absolute best. Together they uncover the knowledge of what once was, digging into the earth and finding treasures others would consider junk. He just gets it like no one else. Theres no judgement, no awkward laughter. Just understanding. If Apep ever did manage to make that museum, he would be honoured if Brogan would add his collection to its halls.

Moren is one of those dragons that just sort of appears. Apep truly enjoys his company, though he wishes that the gaoler could understand why he found fossils so interesting. He is a simple dragon, only knowing his love for gemstones, and Apep is happy to help gather some for him. He must admit, the way Moren digs up fossils despite his lack of understanding makes him a wonderful friend.
