Torval

Torval is the clan's ambassador to the other advanced species of Sornieth. He's something of a linguist, being fluent in High Harpy and three Longneck dialects, among others. He can read, write, and understand Court Maren, but cannot speak it himself due to a speech impediment involving letters typically not found in Draconic languages.

He is, perhaps obviously, the bookish type. His strengths lie in building diplomatic and economic rather than military might. Many dragons, within his clan and without, feel that his efforts are pointless, that other species are physically weaker and that there is little need to formally deal with them. However, despite his sometimes-esoteric paths of research, no one can deny the good he has brought to the clan.
