Magpie is spoiled, gorgeous and admired by all for his beauty. However, he is also a really smart scholar, but nobody really seems to care about his research - 'why do you bother your pretty head about this?' - and this has made him somewhat frustrated. Now he's plotting for a way to show that he's both brains and beauty.
