They twisted and wrapped on cosmic wings, unfurling as something much greater than her world lowered its gaze to her own. Vail locked eyes with this celestial emissary and felt everything she knew shift.

Vail is the prophet of starlight, the self-proclaimed Voice of the Stars. Many years past, she looked upon that starlight as it lives and breathes, and simply viewing that creature twisted something terrible into her brain. She became fixated on the idea of bringing that darkness to the world-- not to have it enshrouded, but to have it so beautifully, dimly illuminated.

Vail has recruited others who would follow her path to cover the sky with starlit wings. They dwell with her in the Darklit Sanctum, drawing others into their faint light.
