Biography

Wind-Sprite.png

Puck is a prankster with a flair for theater, fancying himself the role of both trickster and comedian. As an actor of sorts, he changes character to the much more calm and obedient Owen while serving his secretarial duties under Gloandi, a performance so striking that many believe them to be independent dragons.

Born as "Owen" to Leronde and Snowdrop and carrying the blessing of the Windsinger, he was quick to match his mother's playful whimsy and utilize his blessing for games. With the limited power of shapeshifting and a specialty for Wind magic, even as a child Owen would set elaborate pranks for his fellow clansmen, earning him his much valued nickname of "Puck".

Puck, as he preferred to be called, later decided to request the job of the Matriarch's secretary. Some believed this to be an inappropriate prank, while others hoped it was a sign of maturation. In truth, it was neither. As an actor and impressionist since birth, Puck desired to test himself by playing the opposite character; a character he named Owen after his birth name. As Owen he performed his tasks wonderfully; filing papers and keeping track of notable dates on the disorganized Gloandi's behalf. Real or fake, no one could rival Owen's secretarial skills.

Later he was given the opportunity to further develop his acting. Rose, his adopted and youngest sister, believed in taking on the life of a noble assassin; removing those who spread evil in the Windswept Plateau. While she did not ask that her family should join her, many of them did, including Puck. He agreed with her viewpoints, wished to support her, and could not pass up the opportunity to develop his alter-ego further. Why play the usual and dutiful Owen when he could become so much more? A secret criminal using his high position for the benefit of his team and that of the Windswept Plateau.
