- Gloom, an introverted toymaking expert -
Don't tell anyone, but he's very ticklish. Especially on his fans.
Given to the lair as a baby from a friend shadow clan.
He hides his section of the lair deep within the caverns, with a hidden entrance- behind which are layers of fabric curtains and piles of sand. Most often no dragon bothers to uncover his secrets... except, of course, the few Light dragons of the clan, who have not succeeded yet.
Gloom has revealed his projects that he works on in his room of the lair. He is a detailed and skilled toymaker, often incorporating mechanical aspects within the toys. He tries to give them as many mysterious and mystical components as possible. While he gives the finished toys to hatchlings and the collectors of the clan, he hides any unfinished projects.
Gloom occasionally spends time with Syrup. They have a friendship based on originally being from the same shadow clan.
While generally quiet and reserved, he does enjoy spending time with hatchlings. He often allows them to chase his tail, or talks to them to find out their tastes in toys.
