hi there! you seem relatively new to flight rising, so i want to approach this as kindly as possible. i understand that lair space is a limited resource, and sometimes we need to find new homes for dragons we do still care about. however, there are a few rules and social norms that you may not know about, so i want to take this opportunity to explain them so that you hopefully don't wind up in this situation in the future (1/7)

there are two ways to sell a dragon on fr: the auction house (ah) and the forums. unless a dragon is explicitly given away for free through the forums on a non-exalt condition and someone intentionally exploits that for free fodder, the site's rules are very clear that the seller cannot dictate what happens to a dragon after it sells. you can read more about that here: https://flightrising.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004996703-Dragon-Ownership (2/7)

in this case, you sold muck for 5g on the ah. that price is significantly below the current 'fodder floor' price – the cheapest adult dragons available for people to buy – which is fluctuating from 7g/kt to 9g/kt this week. generally, if you don't want a dragon you sell on the ah to be exalted, you want to pay attention to the current fodder floor and make sure your prices are above that value, paying attention to factors like daily fodder bonuses that people will pay more for (3/7)

additionally, many people do not take kindly to people who reach out and thank them for buying dragons they have purchased to use as fodder from the ah. i know a number of people who will block others for these sorts of messages because of how they can lead to guilt-tripping and harassment as laid out in the rules article. this may not have been your intention in this situation, but that is often how these actions are perceived by the recipient of those messages (4/7)

your intent here may have been innocent, but this is something a lot of people have a very negative view of because of past experiences of harassment stemming from people 'thanking' them for buying dragons via profile comments, private message (pm), crossroads (cr), or forum ping. while i myself don't block people for this, there are many other people who do. one of my friends has given me permission to share their profile as an example: https://www1.flightrising.com/clan-profile/214779 (5/7)

i will be 100% honest with you: when i was sniping dragons last night, i was looking for fodder to level and exalt today. since you seem to be newer to the site and this may have just been a genuine mistake/lack of knowledge on your part, i can give you two options here: i can either sell muck back to you for the same price (5g), or i can reach out to a friend of mine who collects progenitor offspring and see if they are interested in taking him, though i cannot promise they are (6/7)
