Biography
Though some have suggested that it might be degrading to dress a Saint's statue up in a bridle and saddle like a common beast, this Saint seems to prefer it; if the accoutrements are removed, they'll somehow be back within the place within the hour, as if the Saint himself has gone to retrieve them.
Of course, this Saint bestows his blessings on hatchlings, so turning it into a fun dragon-back experience makes sense! New hatchlings are brought to this Saint and seated on his back; some speak to him, some don't, but many parents report their children receiving some small blessing or a little wish granted. The statue was crafted in proportions much larger than life-sized, so can accommodate youngsters even from the larger dragon breeds.
The statue itself, crafted of copper and fine porcelain by artisans of the Shifting Expanse, was delivered anonymously with regards from the Lightning domain. Occasionally craftsdragons from that region will visit just to have a look at it, performing a detailed inspection of the craftsmanship and muttering to one another about the skill of the porcelain integration and the exquisite detail in the copper work. Those who aren't too large to fit will often also perch on the statue's back, though they're not typically making wishes so much as telling the Saint in reverent tones just how handsome he is.
The Saint's tack is regularly maintained by local textile makers and leatherworkers, who ensure that the Saint's equipment is always in perfect shape for receiving visitors.
