Branded as a said weakling, last of a large nestling in harsh environment, it wouldn't have survived long after hatching right? The egg could've been abandoned in carrion canyon to rot amongst carcasses and opportunistic hungry stomach. Fortunately enough for this baby, their guardian did not have the guts to proceed with what seemed to be a good plan... theoretically.. They maybe even thought they were doing this for your own good and not to be the weak gear into the greatest machine of the Shifting Expanse or even dare say, the potential conquerer of entire Sornieth..

Instead , the grieving parent have walked along the crevasse, whispering and humming to the egg, so soft it could only be remembered as foggy murmurs. But the sadness of letting go a child could be heard, maybe from losing a piece of your bloodline? Or maybe simply for disapproving with your partner about what to do with such weight.. An entire day, going back and forth, flying or walking, the egg finally got dropped in the caresses and cold embrace of the sea. Endlessly becoming colder as it reached a crevice of the Southern Icefields. Probably into reclaimer's glaciers belly, the little dragon was preparing even before birth escaping from one of the most brutal, freezing and unforgiving places in Sornieth.

The little dragon grew in almost total darkness remembering only the whispered hummings and electric pulses from the belly of his homeland. Peaceful purple and the color he imagines lightning be, the same colour as his eyes.
