Elkee has dedicated her life to serving others. She willingly chose to sacrifice herself to a cause that gives her immortality, but in exchange she must fulfill the dreams she's given. These dreams lead her to anyone who needs her, giving her a nomadic lifestyle. Cheeky to a fault, Elkee often speaks before she thinks and silence might as well be nonexistent in her presence. She’s incapable of lying and comes with a spine forged in steel. She’d run into a burning building to save someone without a thought for herself. Her stubbornness often lands her in hot water, since she insists on befriending just about anyone, even those with questionable natures since she believes most individuals can change for the better if given a chance. While her help is freely given, Elkee’s trust isn't so easily earned since she won't let herself be taken advantage of. It takes a lot for her to give up on someone, but even she knows there are people out there that are beyond redemption. She possesses strong healing magic that she can also use as a weapon to defend herself. However, this magic requires physical touch, which doesn’t make it ideal for combat. Not that Elkee would fight for the sake of fighting. She’d rather avoid violence wherever possible since her immortality only applies to aging, not dying. |

Elkee was a country dragoness, born into a small farming village. Her father was the local surgeon, an educated tundra from the city. He was an outlier to the villagers, who thought him strange. Her mother had been born and raised in the village, but came under the same judgment as Elkee’s father. As a result of this, Elkee was shunned by the other younglings. Her childhood was spent learning and she threw herself into it, education becoming more of a friend to her than anyone else. She wanted to be like her father, but when she manifested strong healing magic, neither of her parents were capable of helping her since they only possessed basic ice magic. They sent her to the city to attend an academy for gifted dragons. There she learned to use her magic to heal and became one of their top students. Upon graduating, Elkee returned home only to discover that she had surpassed her father’s knowledge and skill and this caused tension between them. Plus the villagers were even more wary of her now that she had stronger magic. She decided to travel before finding a place to settle. During her wanderings, Elkee came across an injured unicorn. She saved its life and in exchange it offered her immortality—with a price. She would need to continue doing good with her magic. Elkee accepted and went about her life. The only difference was that she now had dreams of dragons who needed her help. Thousands of years passed. Elkee loved her life and to this day she still isn’t bored of it, though it does get a little lonely due to her out living even the longer lived dragons. |
