Biography
Chosen Mate: None
Good Point: Inquisitive
Bad Point: A little too talkative
Role: Necromancer
Necromantic Symbol(s): Sigil, Blades
General Job: Instructor to aspiring necromancers
Society Affiliations: Survival Guides
Though born in the land of the Windsinger, his blood ran thick with that of the necromancers of Plague. A long journey to learn more of his heritage took him all over the Scarred Wasteland. Time spent learning, time spent traveling, Kanu took in everything before making his decision. It was best to be informed before jumping forward, after all. But he made the choice, in the end. The choice to become a necromancer.
His trials went well for him, but Kanu found himself far from where he came from. So the mirror sought out a more senior Necromancer to work under and reside with, seeing that as his best way to gain more experience and grow more as an individual. In this process, he eventually met Mayu and joined her entourage.
He noticed quickly that he was only the second true necromancer of the group. Having already learned a lot from his journeys, Kanu took it upon himself to be the teacher of the entourage - new necromancers and necroservi would be educated on how to proceed, and if they had some knowledge but still needed to know something they could easily ask him. Mayu, of course, was supportive of this choice. If there were any questions his students had that he couldn't answer, Kanu was free to send them up to her.
And so began his new life as an instructor.
Kanu has a love of travel and learning. This makes him a very social individual, prone to asking all sorts of questions. Everyone new he meets will get at least one, and in return he'll answer any they have - within reason, of course. The mirror understands there's some things that aren't to be shared. Kanu is happy to share with others the knowledge he's gained, and his passion for learning makes him one of the best teachers.
Of course, no dragon is without their weak points. Kanu's is that he might talk a little too much sometimes. He can get so excited, so thrilled to share what he knows, that he'll go on and on about a topic without realizing he's spoken at length for nearly an hour about the same thing. Most members of the entourage are happy to have him around, but they take care to make sure he doesn't start getting too excited and going overboard.
Kanu has a small collection of various trinkets from his travels, and for every new journey he picks up one tiny thing more. His current favorite is a lovely blue-green bead he found on his way from Wind to Plague territory.
As of 3/18/2024, Kanu has left Mayu's entourage to start his own. He still associated with her and they get along well. But now that she has helped him get a good start in the council, he's ready to carve his own path how he sees fit.
