Gria

Gria wasn't...anchored as the lair's oracle put it. She faded in and out, flickering from time to time before becoming solid once more. As a hatchling she would vanish for days, only to return with stories of years long past. She claimed to have met dragons from older generations, ones who hadn't roamed the land of the living for decades or even centuries. Her parents were at their wits end with her, assuming she was running away and making up stories until the oracle herself backed the little hatchling up.

"It's not an illusion, she's truly traveling. This is why she appears transparent occasionally." The oracle would explain. What seemed to be invisibility powers at first would turn out to be something much more dangerous. She was unsupervised, traveling through time, meeting people who don't exist in the modern day. The stress became too much and the parents waited until she was mature enough to live on her own. Then they left her.

Gria was abandoned in an old shabby town, left to wander confused and hurt until a certain Banescale showed up. She knew him, recognized him. He was younger back then. He recognized her as well and curious, he beckoned her inside of the arena for a 'talk'. They had a lot of catching up to do...
