plot: clan researchers notice odd movements on their radars and hear strange, almost haunting calls at dusk. One goes to investigate and finds a little hatchling abandoned. However, the "hatchling" seems to be a perplexing case of regression and has no intent on staying to be treated as a test subject. researcher returns with specimen and sufficient wounds.
