Despite her suspicious appearance, Ashe is a gentle dragon with an affinity for creating medicines from plants native to The Tangled Woods. She has a close bond with many members of the clan, including Yuki and Rowan; due to their friendship, she spends a lot of her free hours working on a cure for Rowan's memory loss, caused by his inexperience in casting spells.

She first came to Ombre Fiore when the clan consisted of few dragons other than Lily and Reiner; such a small family surely required an apothecary, should any of them fall ill. Originally, she was met with doubts because of her appearance (the names of her parents didn't help, either), and so spent much of her young life travelling to different clans of Sornieth in a bid to find work and keep herself fed. She was often made to leave her workplaces not long after arriving because they found her to be "evil-looking". However, solace was offered at Ombre Fiore, who accepted her permanently with no qualms. A book shouldn't be judged by it's cover.
Even in its darkest passages, the heart is unconquerable.
