Biography
Denmother arrived nameless to the clan from a life of wandering survival with only her beloved Troodo whom she hatched and raised from an egg she found, which gives him his name. Even so, she made a home and found a purpose quickly in The Glade, earning a title among her clanmates which she adopted as her name.
The Denmother may look fearsome - and that's because she is - but none compare to her proclivity for hatchling care. Her sharp eye and protective spirit enable her to neutralize threats to the young while nurturing them surprisingly well for as ferocious as she appears. For a dragon with limited verbal communication, the hatchlings seem to understand her quite well, and while they know to obey her hissed omens, it's also a common sight to find Denmother under a playful pile of happy hatchlings, each one trying harder than the last to catch the teasing, feathered rattle wrapped around the end of her tail.
There is also never a shortage of hatchlings in the Feral Clan, as Denmother has a habit of finding and bringing back wandering loners on every outing she happens to take.
