Denali

Before Denali finally found himself in a clan, he spent much of his days wandering the wild ----Learning. Surviving. That is all he could do until he finally had what he could call a family. In that time he spent alone, wandering the Shrieking Wilds for what felt like ages, he had to do what it took to survive. He had to face plentiful trials. With being as young as he was at the time, it's surprising that he didn't end up dead. Denali got beaten and torn up in the wild; that didn't stop him. Nor did that make him cower from the world. It only made him stronger.

In the end, He came out a skilled hunter after the weeks and weeks he must have been on his own. This dragon knows the wild better than any other dragon in his clan---Thus he has taken on the roll of going out to hunt and gather for them each and everyday. Despite his callous personality, he does care for the well being of the clan that took him in. For if it was for them , he might have landed himself dead before he could ever live a day to see how much stronger his struggle made him.

He does, however, have scars to show of his struggles. Which is why he hides much of his face and body with a wolf pelt.

Only for the hatchlings would he take this pelt off and tell his story. They're curious, young. They know not of the world. He rather sees it as his role to speak of his journeys to them to show that there is so much more outside of their peaceful little clan. And similarly to the rare occasion of removing his pelt, this is also one of very few occasions that he will show kindness.
Other than that, he is more quiet. Standoffish, If one would say. He prefers staying on his own to work on sharpening his weapons and the such to use for hunting. Especially if it's outdoors. Even with the struggles he had fighting against nature and the beasts within it when he was younger, It doesn't mean that he fears nature. No. It's a part of him no matter what. He embraces it.
