Biography

Also known as Clan Father - second dragon and co-founder of the Feral Clan. Also born of the Glade, he explored his now territory alone for days, memorizing it and wondering if he was the only dragon to exist here. Eventually he wandered into what is now the Hearth - the main system of Lairs for the current clan members. It was here that he and Suki met for the first time, the fae also having been wandering alone for some time. As they spoke, the dragons realized that they were the patron keepers of this land, born to encourage its growth and protect it from harm. With the agreement to work together, they set back off on their separate missions to preserve their territory while making it a suitable home for the dragons that would one day be responsible for doing the same.

Now Batikha spends his days wandering the Glade in search of new available territory for the ever expanding clan, guiding the clan members there, and guarding the clan borders. He also helps guide any newcomers he encounters to the Hearth, leads lost dragons or hatchlings to their destination, or assists travelers through the boundaries. He is a quiet and stoic dragon known for his kind smile - in most cases he says more with a simple look than with words. Animals and hatchlings alike seem drawn to this gentle giant and it is not uncommon to see a trail of one or both frolicking along behind him as he traverses his territory.

Occasionally a creature will spend an extended period of time shadowing Batikha, but one in particular as of late seems to have taken to using him as camouflage. Affectionately called Sokka after the excited chittering sound the creature makes when he's been spotted, Batikha seems to enjoy playing hide and seek with the spiky little familiar throughout the day as they make their way around the Glade.
