All jokes about this show aside, skyler white is legitimately one of my favourite - and in my opinion, one of the greatest - characters from any work of fiction i've seen in my life :3. i don't have the words for how i feel about her. the writing on everyone (in the main cast) is out of this world but skyler white 💥 ahead of her time by far. i had very little exposure to breaking bad before i watched it so i spent the first like 10 episodes wondering "wow she's really going through it right now i genuinely feel for her. such a shame she's gonna get evil" and then it literally just turns out that everyone was being misogynistic online and she's actually just a normal person in a difficult situation. i love the struggle she has in keeping her family and herself together, i love the parallels between her and jesse, i love anna gunn's performance in 'ozymandias' so much that i didn't sleep the night after watching it :]. THE POOL SCENE. the whole episode containing it!!! good lord. my favourite line in the entire show might be her "somebody has to protect this family from the man who protects this family" like! chilling! if i was walter, the delivery on that would have killed me outright. where is my prequel show about her and marie before it all went awry i need this like i need air ^__^
