Biography
According to legend, The Windsinger, in need of swift messengers to carry his songs across Sornieth, sang an airy hymn to bring forth the first of the clever Equus from the fluttering breeze of his breath.
In another, it is said that the Tidelord desired tireless warriors to protect his domain and created a mighty wave, and the first Equus was born from the ensuing frothy foam of the sea as it surged against the shore.
In yet another, the Earthshaker wished to create strong children who could carry any weight upon their backs and within their claws, and the Equus were carved from sturdy granite and basalt.
And so on.
Every flight seems to have its own creation myth for this tenacious subspecies, and as a result there is much discourse surrounding the exact origin of the Equus. Which of the Eleven could claim them as their children? Where was their homeland? Historic records and artifacts and stories passed down by mouth all offer differing accounts from all corners of the globe, leaving no solid evidence to support any one theory. The only thing all scholars are able to agree on, however, is the fact that the Equus are old.

Arviasal is one of these travellers. He is popular among his clanmates, has a good sense of humour, is really independent and knows less about himself than he would like to own. His childhood was spent in a foster family somewhere in the Zephyr Steppes, but after reaching adulthood he left his serene birthplace. He travelled far and wide, and in the Plague domain he met the Castaway Forests clan and finally decided to take a break from his travels.
But there is more to Arviasal than meets the eye. He is trying to find answers to questions that he has been asking since his youth. Where did he come from? What happened to his real family? Who is he, really? Perhaps he should stay in the Castaway Forests clan for more than he planed, for something tells him that here, finally he can learn more about himself and his origins.
