An omen is indeed upon us. I thought it strange after all these months I have yet to find any record of One anywhere in the party journals left by the folk clan crew who ventured here all those moons ago. But now I've come across yet another withered I have no account for. And I have reason to believe this individual has been in this area a lot longer than One. The two both show symptoms of the same affliction, infected scales that gush bloody residue that seems to cause a itch so powerful the dragon themselves is willing to tear through their own skin to make it stop. And this withered, anywhere an Aberration such as themselves should have scales; I saw only sickly residue. Trailing behind them as they stumbled around in agony. It seems whatever this is, it smolders into the infected. It may take a while for one to see it through all the meat and puss that just seems to melt off of this stranger, but there is a gash in the middle of their neck. I myself only noticed it when the dragon tried to screech at something nearby, and fresh grime spilled from their neck. How they can still breath, I am unsure. But I can hear their rasping even from up in the treetops where I stay hidden. Sharp painful gasps, like they where being burned from the inside out. Is this the same fate that awaits One as well?
