Lightning dragons are known for their intelligence and innovation, however all John is known for is being a le epic gamer. A very young dragon, new to adulthood, he was enrolled in a decently average university, studying software engineering. He is an outsider, a little bit weird and socially awkward, and very unsure of himself and his life: typical young adult things, really. He can be immature and relies on humor to get positive reactions from the dragons around him. His life took a dramatic turn when he was kidnapped by a strange, demented Sandsurge and whisked away to be his minion in a cave on the very edge of the Scarred Wasteland. To his horror, he finds out his new roommate is very skilled with Plague magic and uses it for... creative endeavors. Endeavors he doesn't want to be a part of, but he is so weak in comparison, and he can rarely find a good time to escape. He isn't treated poorly... but he sort of misses college, weird as it sounds, and he was made for a dark room with a hydraulic chair, not a damp cave full of bones and viscera. He finds himself kind of liking this weird dragon, like a sort of replacement for the parents that were so absent in John's life. Maybe he just needs therapy.
