Kiro  Outlaw Kind | Worrier | Jumpy A worrier by nature, Kiro panic's at small things, he may get brash or rude during these outbursts, but he never means harm. For being a outlaw leader he is kind, and cares deeply for the dragons under his care. Even so, he dresses like he's out to kill when really he could never hurt a fly. The dragons of the outpost respect and listen to him, letting him lead in his own way. This is mostly due to Kitha taking the lead on most things, with her powerful attituded and ideas. They may have many difference's but they make a great couple, leaning on each other for support in time of need. |

Kiro blows the smell of rot and decay from his nose. The Mirror sits atop one of the sentry towers of the outpost he calls home, tail thumping a steady beat on the wooden floor. "Hey, watch it!" A high voice hisses angrily. Kiro rolls his eyes as the familiar fae form of Kitha flutters up to his shoulder, swatting at a grey-hued ear as he leans away from the assault. Kitha settles and Kiro can tell that there's something wrong; the fae's face is set tensely, shoulders bunched up as if she were a spring, loaded and coiled to go off at a second's notice. Her eyes are tight, pools of bloody red narrowed into near slits as she gazes out onto the plagued, diseased landscape. "Three more today." The fae states mournfully. Kiro can feel his stomach twist, heavy with worry as he lets his stony features fall a little. The two of them had led the outpost for quite some time, but over the past few weeks...dragons have mysteriously been falling asleep where they stand. Their limbs go taut, eyelids slide shut and they're gone, unable to be roused by even the loudest of noises. The Mirror glances over at Kitha, eyes searching her own. "No hints at all? Nothin' that could help us even..." Kiro's sentence dies off as it tightens in frustration, the Mirror shaking his head as the Fae hops onto his head, trying to comfort the larger dragon. "I can't even protect anybody because there's nothin' to target, nothin' to go after! Feels like we're fightin' an invisible enemy..." He's frustrated, on the verge of hopeless, even. Isd it a curse? Unawakened magic? Kiro scrambles in his brain, trying to find something that would make sense. Anything. "I'm sorry, Kiro." Kitha curls up on the leader's head, voice small. "Whatever it is, we'll get through it. Together. We're in this together, don't forget that." Kiro lets out a long sigh, trying to ease the bunched muscles in his back. She was right. She's always right. A cursed linage, or an abundance of magic gone rogue...what could it be? |
