As a young girl; her life was forever changed during a brief trip through the Viridian Labyrinth as her mother tried to sell her off due to an overfilled lair. The flowers immediately captivated her; and such a love affair began with flora.
How disappointed she was to wind up in a den in Shadow territory; surrounded only by mushrooms and strangely blue grass.
She then vowed to bring plantlife to this barren place; and began her life's long mission.
She was adopted and taken in by Jin and Chua, who had just had their first two sons together and were still feeling the throws of parenthood among them. She was raised along Yingtao; a sweet, quiet boy who grew enthralled with her stories of the great and mysterious labyrinth. Together, they set about cultivating their own garden.
It annoyed Onyx greatly at first, a troublesome youth digging plots in the middle of camp and fussing over dead flowers in a desperate attempt to revitalize them, but with Jin as her adopted mother, he couldn't just kick her out. He gave her a small area off to the side to begin her garden. Once it had [i[finally[/i] taken off, Onyx announced the clan had grown big enough to live in a new area of the flight territory. While furious to abandon her garden at first, the new lair was beautiful; a small clearing in a wood full of beautiful trees with glowing flowers and trailing ivy. She was amazed and uplifted immediately. Around this time she also found her mate, Pye, a somewhat self obsessed, self proclaimed Arcane ambassador but who loved her passion for flowers with all his heart. Together they started a new garden, a beautiful garden, which is the highlight of the lair, and the new hatchlings often play in it and new couples spend nights in it, gazing at the beautiful stars among the glow of the plants she has laid with love.
She dreams of visiting the Viridian Labyrinth again someday, but for now, she has done a pretty good job here.
She often sneaks back to the old lair to care for her first garden.
