Biography
Carnation - The Curious
Carnation has been a traveler since birth. He traveled from his home clan, and found himself in the Diverse Waves lair, but was not quite satisfied. While he was still young, he decided to set off on another adventure at Le Cirque des Misérables...
He is a curious sort, and often spends time researching, whether it is about magic, history, or his next destination. He often keeps a positive attitude, but is a bit too excitable for his own good, especially when something tempting is involved--which is exactly why he got himself into this mess. (added by Naegikun)
He caught wind of a rumor about a mysterious tower near Le Cirque, said to house secrets that have been buried in the past. Naturally, his curiosity lead him to investigate. The tower was shaped oddly, looking as though it should not even be standing based on its crooked angles and misshapen protrusions.
Although common sense said he should have proceeded with caution, in his excitement he wandered in without fear. Unfortunately for him, there were traps in great abundance set up in this tower. A great swishing sound was all he heard before a large wire net scooped him up and held him firmly against the ceiling. "Ow!" Wincing from the impact, he tried to squirm out to no avail.
Worry started to creep into his mind. How long was he going to be stuck here? But that's when he heard the voice of another dragon coming his way... (added by DismasYves)

“Why hello there…” - the voice said. It was still unclear what kind of a dragon was the greeter, but it obviously would be something bigger, since Fae are the smallest. At least they didn’t sound hostile, at least for now. “Shattereama is my name” - said the Nocturne with some sort of a witch gear equipped. “How did you end up here?” - she asked. After the explanation she thought for a moment, but agreed to help the Fae out of here as she was on her “tour” as well. Eventually they had to part ways, but Carnation’s journey isn’t over just yet.(added by JamMystery)

Continuing up the tower, Carnation looked out of a small window to see the lights of Le Cirque in the distance. Spinning, blinking and colorful lights attached to circus tents and carnival attractions... it was a sight to behold. Despite the somewhat unsavory whispers of the place's reputation, one would have a hard time arguing that there wasn't a strange and eerie beauty to it.
Eventually, after a long time, he managed to arrive at the top of the tower. Stretching the sore muscles of his wings, Carnation looked around the magnificent room. Above, a stained glass dome projected images of stars across the floor, while shelves filled to the brim with books lined every wall. He was filled with overwhelming curiosity and excitement.
One of the books caught his eye— a book of spells in an ancient language that he could not understand. He drew nearer, but as he did a wave of dizziness fell across his mind. He stumbled and tried to support himself with a nearby table. Why... when he was so close to a grand discovery?!
Frantically, he flipped through the books around him at random, trying to absorb as much as he could while also looking for something that might be able to help him. As his headache intensified, he came across a random spell in a book of healing and began to perform it. With every word that dripped off his tongue, the magic inside him started to swell...
Hours later, he woke up at the foot of the tower, confused and disoriented but with a clear head. How had he gotten there...? He honestly wasn't sure. But there was something about his vision that had changed; there was a faint aura around objects that hadn't been there before. Upon testing it, he discovered that he could now determine the elemental affinity of items and beings around him!
He glanced at the tower hesitantly, but decided against going back for more. Whatever knowledge was locked up there was far too dangerous to risk it again. It was possible that he would pass out and never wake up again if he went back. So it was to his reluctance that he left the tower behind and resumed his travels, eager to find new sources of knowledge.
