Cavern has made a name for herself delving and scavenging for scrap in some of the most harsh and dangerous environments Sornieth has to offer. From the depths of the Sea of a Thousand Currents to the scalding heat of the Ashfall Waste, Cavern has braved the most hostile landscapes by crafting clever protective equipment to keep her safe. Each piece of equipment was developed over a long period of time, testing, and tweaks. Though Cavern put in a lot of legwork and brainpower, it is thanks to the many friends, merchants, and allies she has befriended in her travels that her protective gear works so well. Scrap was bartered in exchange for custom parts. Magic runes were carved into metal by mages. Both Cavern's individual skill and her social network are enviable.

Of course, it isn't just any dragon that would venture into the high-voltage heart of the Shifting Expanse or the most frigid reaches of the Southern Icefield. Though many consider her brave, Cavern doesn't think that much of her perilous expeditions. She's not reckless or stupid; she knows the danger she gets herself into and she's not immune to healthy fear. She is just strong-willed and able to keep her wits about her. If she couldn't, she wouldn't still be around!
