Biography

...............i do not have one clan, nor is there one singular location where my lair resides. my dragons all live in different places, and they all follow their own paths and stories. my dragons (with perhaps a handful of exceptions) live in the same universe and timeline, and many of them cross paths with each other – but not all of them are crucial or even present in each other’s stories.

...............my lair is sorted in regards to location. once a dragon’s lore is ready to be displayed, they are sorted into one of the location tabs in my lair. until then, they reside in one of three places – my ‘main’ tab in my lair, my ‘second main’ in my hibernal den, or my ‘projects’ tab in my hibernal den. main & second main are just places to keep unsorted dragons, or dragons that are not lore-centric. all dragons there are sorted by order of when i got them. (projects is for projects).

...............due to my lore having many locations, each has a representative. a representative is a dragon whose bio contains lore about their setting instead of their own lore. (eura, the darklands, sornieth, ?, and places on the behemoth all have respective representatives.) additionally, each representative has a companion; a dragon who holds both the personal lore of their representative, and the companion’s own personal lore. i organize it like this so that it’s easier to display setting lore as well as the dragon’s personal lore without displaying one bio with a wall of text.

...............also in my lair are dragons that are ‘useful.’ (these do not include representatives or companions.) they serve a purpose. sometimes they have personal lore, and sometimes they do not. for example: eulalia is my worldbuilding dragon. her bio contains all lore regarding my lair’s worldbuilding. she does not hold her own story – her companion, absalom, does this for her. another example: jace here is both a useful dragon and a fandragon. he’s my information dragon (similar to an FAQ), but because he’s a fandragon of jacaerys velaryon he does not have personal lore of his own.

...............in general, every dragon with a star in their broadcast message either does not hold their personal lore in their own bio, (representative, useful, or other), or is a companion.

...............if you would like to get into my lore, here are the steps i advise you to take: go to my directory dragon, fyodore. then simply click around to read location lore, personal lore, and worldbuilding! (tip: rhaenys holds a little lore about many locations). every dragon’s lore can be read alone, with no prior knowledge of my lore needed. (there’s a lot of relevant information in eulalia’s bio, however.)

...............front page schematics: alicent (fandragon), jace (information dragon), aeneas (‘about me’), eulalia (worldbuilding), fyodore (directory dragon). second, third, and fourth pages are all unsorted dragons. the fifth page is my baby sandy.

jace is half-based off of jacaerys velaryon from the tv show house of the dragon, but if alicent & rhaenyra were in love and their kids were theirs. so his colors are close to my alicent's. ~~(let me live my delusions they help me thrive in my enclosure)~~
